On Monday, My mom, brother and I headed out to the Ball Park at Arlington to with the Rangers host the Mariners. For those who might not be this familiar, this game was a bit of a conflict of interest as I lived in Seattle for some 5years when I became a bit of a Mariners fan. However, my loyalty does run true to Texas. By the 5th inning, the Mariners had us by 3 until we closed out the fifth five runs, three coming from a spectacular home run hit. The stadium was all aroar - very impressive for being only about 1/3 filled. Attributed to the empty nature of the stadium, on our way up to the upper level, our cheapo seats, an usher on the second level waived us down and offered to let us sit in his section. He ushered section 208-212, but had no one in his section that evening as was recruiting. We were happy to oblige.
I would argue that we had a great view. We were right by the Nolan Ryan sign; he was my childhood hero.

A photo as the game went on.

My brother and I sporting our support for the Rangers. I think all of the hats we were wearing were mine from back in the day (age 8 or so). Adjustable hats was a GREAT idea. Seriously, I know for a fact that the hat I was wearing I have had for over 15 years. They are all original Ranger caps from before they changed their colors to Blue and Red and then back to Red on Blue.
The most exciting part was that my sister, her husband, my niece and some of their friends were just a few sections down from us. We made sure to visit them. - My brother-in-law and niece -

GREAT pictures Jeff! Your Mom is so pretty and your looking great in that picture with your brother!
I am jealous. I keep living in states that lack MLB.
Now that I'm living in the SF Bay area, I went to a SF Giants game against the Mariners. Much to the dismay of my friend, I couldn't help but cheer for the Mariners, as I lived in the Seattle area for about 15 years. Looks like you had fun!
