I Had a Sad Dream :,(

Okay, I'll get caught up on my blog before getting in to my sad dream
Feb week 4: Still On the Road
Monday night: I hung out with Jonathan at Target. Had fun
Tuesday night: I hung out with a friend from Florida - Correction. I better say date so Elder Oaks doesn't come after me :). We went to Mimi's Cafe. Had fun. Oh. And near by was a small airport that is used as an airplane graveyard. It was at night and there were no light, but I could see their silhouettes. Lot's of big planes just chilling until they are needed for parts. Again, had fun.
Wednesday night: we all went out to celebrate a co-worker's birthday. It started with the wost Mexican food I have ever eaten. I ordered an enchilada and got an engrasada (you'll have to know Spanish to understand my made up word and how hysterical it is). After that was a blast at miniature golf and go-karts. In short, had fun.
Thursday night: Jonathan and I hung out with our cousins, the Hawkes. We got to Monica play at her school's fundraiser production of an Italian dinner to music. Laura was there also as she is in the music program, but we were not so lucky as to hear her play :(. That night we went back to their place for Root Beer Floats and Wii. Thanks Aunt Truddie ;) Got to spend a little more time with our cousin, Mandy, and her huby, J.C. as well as uncle Kenton. A real good time.
Friday night: I got to hang out with yet another friend from Florida. Sadly, it was a short lived evening as he had a fundraiser he was in the middle of and took time out of to catch up some with me. I have AWESOME friends.
Saturday night: Well we drove home and barely got home in time for the CES fireside, which I ditched to spend time with family.

First Week in March: TWO WEEKS HOME!!!
Only a couple things of interest while I was home. I had a chance to visit my families and had some great discussions with them. I also had a chance to go see the play "Beverly Hillbillies." My date, Kaitlyn, is a photographer and gave me mad props on my camera selection - Canon PowerShot SD1100 IS. She also showed me how to use color accents and color swaps. Jonathan and his date made for perfect subjects.
The only thing left was that I finally took my BIOL test. I get to take 3 more the Saturday after I get back from California. Then my final when I get back from the subsequent show.

On the Road Again:
Okay, so I need to be careful not to mention anywhere online about when I am gone (oops, I think I already did that) and most importantly, where I am. So if you want to know you will just have to call and ask :) But here's a hint. Last week was a "Rally" of customers and this week we are in the capital of a former nation. I am loving the scenery, architecture and people out here. The most exciting thing to happen so far is that we have been FLOODED with customers.

Okay, now for the sad dream. >>WARNING<< This is extremely morbid and gross. You might not want to read further. It involves severance of limbs. Well, I got interrupted trying to write this and now it's late so I'll make this quick. The dream was otherwise a lot of fun. Then at one point someone threw a match into the sewer system and there was a huge explosion. My younger brother, Jordan was down there. He called Jonathan and asked him to call for help. It sounded like everything was under control so I carried about my business to let the professionals handle it. Well, he said his legs were blown off, but that didn't make any sense. He was up to his chest in water and in a daze. How would he know. I later ended up in the sewer and saw him there. Everything seemed okay, he was out of it, but help was on the way and I didn't want to disturb the scene and exacerbate the situation. So I continued on with my business (whatever it was at the time). I ended up accidentally draining the sewer (remember, I was worried about disturbing Jordan and making things worse) and sure enough, Jordan, in his daze, was resting propped up against the wall. As the water receded I could see where his legs were supposed to be. Oddly, he was not bleeding and I did not know if that was a good thing or not. Mind you, I was totally calm and mellow about the whole thing. I was trying to figure out the blast resealed the skin much like shrapnel can do, or if had simply ran out of blood to bleed out. Perplexed, I looked about 3-4 feet from his bod and there were his legs, no damage other than being removed from his body. I could see the bone and muscles, but again no blood. This is when I started getting sad. I was serious really ad. I was not panicky, or freaked out, or grossed out or anything like that. Just really REALLY sad. I don't think I have had that emotion in a long time. At least not this type of sad. I was really mad at myself for not dropping everything to make certain my little brother was going to be okay. I was worried for his survival and impact of losing his legs. I felt entirely helpless as I watched his legs twitch in sudden, small, rhythmic jerks like when the doctor taps you on the knee. I was not sure if I needed to tie off his stubs - after all, he wasn't bleeding. Maybe my time would be better spent packing his legs on ice so he would have hope of reattachment surgery. It was just so weird to see and I had so many thought going through my head. As I began evaluating what resources I had at my disposal, I woke up in a sad daze.

Now, Jordan IS okay. He is not in any danger. I AM sane. This was a small part of a much larger dream weaved as a large mosaic of many present hopes, anticipations, and excitements while this portion held emotional burdens that were recently unloaded on me and some TV shows I've stayed up too late watching. I just thought it would be fun to put some of my imagination to work on my blog. I hope you heeded my warning and have only gotten that far because this stuff interests you and didn't gross you out.
